Biography

Zhang Yadong, Associate Chief Physician at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University; PhD in Andrology and postgraduate supervisor; Deputy Director of the Health Management Center of The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He has long been engaged in urological and andrological practice (nearly 20 years), focusing on “diagnosis and treatment of sexual dysfunction” and “male genital reconstructive surgery”. He has undertaken multiple advanced training programs in andrological diagnosis and treatment in China and abroad. In 2019, he completed specialized training at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) in the UK in penile prosthesis implantation and male genital plastic and reconstructive surgery. He has performed andrological surgical demonstrations at multiple national conferences, including “modified penile curvature correction”, “penile lengthening surgery”, “penile prosthesis implantation”, and “microsurgical spermatic vein diversion”. His surgical video “Classic Circumcision” was selected for the Chinese Medical Association's Collection of Minor and Medium-Sized Surgeries by Chinese Experts. He won third place in the 2021 Chinese Medical Association Andrology Branch-JoVE Video SCI Journal National Specialized Surgical/Technical Video Competition. He is a review expert for emerging industry projects in Shenzhen.
